‘Riding out the storm’ - organisations prepare for post-recession upturn

Respondents indicated a significant focus on leadership development in 2010 – particularly at middle management level. They also anticipate focusing on high-potentials as they grow and develop to lead their businesses into an uncertain future with 67% of respondents choosing ‘Managing Change’ as a specific development priority for managers .

Merger of Henley Management College and the University of Reading

The newly formed Henley Business School will be a faculty of the University of Reading and consist of the Schools of Management, Economics, Real Estate and Planning and the International Capital Markets Association (ICMA) Centre. Each of these already has a significant reputation and will benefit further from investment in their infrastructure, resources and brand.
 

Henley Management College and the University of Reading Enter into Discussions Over Potential Merger

Under the terms of the potential merger, Henley Management College would combine its operations with the University of Reading, forming a significant institution which is capable of taking Henley’s world ranking even higher than it has achieved this year.
