New Years Honours for ABS Members

Professor Andrew Pettigrew, a former
dean of the School of Management at the University of Bath receives an OBE for services to local
and national higher education.
The academic completed his five-year
tenure as dean in September and is now working on new
projects.

With over 600 member organisations worldwide, EFMD status provides excellent networking opportunities with many leading international business schools and companies.

University of Bath to host unique finance research centre

The aim of the centre is to conduct rigorous applied research to identify best practice in the development of finance professionals so that the finance function maximises its contribution to the organisation.

The bidding process saw the University compete against a number of highly ranked academic institutions to secure funding for an initial five-year research programme.
