Cass Business School and Citi announce ground-breaking course

The course’s ten best performing students had the opportunity to take part in an assessment centre from which two students were selected for a six week summer internship with the ECM team at Citi.

The elective, which started in May, was led by Mario Levis, Professor of Finance at Cass and Senior Managing Directors from Citi’s Equity Capital Markets Origination team. It was the first time that Citi have partnered with a business school on a course elective of this kind.

Threadneedle Investment Award launched in partnership with Cass Business School

The Threadneedle Investment Award is a competition for students applying for a place on the MSc Investment Management at Cass Business School.  Students from Europe, the Middle East & Africa, and Asia Pacific are invited to write an essay addressing a specific economic question relevant to their region, and to identify opportunities for the investment management industry in relation to it.

Cass Business School launches Haberman Campaign

The Haberman Campaign is named after Professor Steven Haberman, Director and Deputy Dean of Cass Business School and Professor of Actuarial Science, in recognition of the enormous contribution he has made to Actuarial Science worldwide.  Professor Haberman has been working at City University, London, and Cass Business School for 35 years and his name has become synonymous with education in Actuarial Science, both in the UK and around the world.  The campaign is also a tribute to Professor Haberman on the occasion of his 60th birthday.

New Dean appointed at Warwick Business School

Previously a Fellow of University College, Oxford, he has also held professorships at Cass Business School and at Liverpool University and was Visiting Professor of Finance at New York University*s Stern School of Business. He was also a Senior Economist at the International Monetary Fund, Washington DC, for five years and an Economist at the Bank of England
