Behavioural Economist to Launch Public Lecture Series

A trained neuroscientist and former BBC Newsnight journalist, Dr Lunn is currently based at the Economic and Social Research Institute in Dublin and is the author of Basic Instincts: Human Nature and the New Economics. He will describe how the new field of behavioural economics is using experiments to change our understanding of how the economy truly works.
 

Newcastle University Business School Launches Healthcare MSc with Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust

The MSc Healthcare Management is the first degree programme of its kind to be commissioned by an individual NHS trust and is specifically designed to give suitably qualified employees working within the Trust an opportunity to develop.
 
“The rationale behind the course we have developed in partnership with Newcastle University Business School is to offer our existing staff the opportunity to progress into management,” explained Ann Stringer, director of human resources and operational development at Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.
 

Oxford Brookes Celebrates EPAS Accreditation

Professor Cooper said “Oxford Brookes University Business School has officially been recognised as one of the best places in the world to study for an MBA.”

The School MBA achieved Association of MBA (AMBA) accreditation in 2003 and today’s announcement followed the Business School receiving a five-year accreditation from the European Foundation of Management Development. This accreditation was awarded for the quality of the course, its design and content and for its excellent student outcomes.
