Hull Business School recognised by the Association of MBAs (AMBA)

Hull joins a growing community of 121 distinguished business schools in 63 countries worldwide. PR Seminar: New and Online Media for Business Schools

PLEASE NOTE THIS EVENT IS NOW FULL - PLEASE REGISTER TO BE INCLUDED ON THE RESERVE LIST

The ABS is pleased to be able to bring members a one day PR Seminar focussed around new social media and the importance of an online PR presence. The day long event will provide an opportunity to hear from other business schools (in house and agency PR staff) as well as an opportunity to meet the journalists (Des Dearlove and Stuart Crainer).

 Fees

At present full membership is  £3,000. Existing small membership £1,500.  Associate membership is  £850. 

1. ABS membership is restricted to institutions which are universities, colleges, schools or any other bodies which quality assure their business/management qualifications and programmes through the higher education sector of the United Kingdom.

Recruitment remains buoyant

The latest findings from the Recruitment Confidence Index (RCI) from Cranfield School of Management and The Daily Telegraph show that more than 40% of organisations responding to the survey anticipate an increase in recruitment activity over the next six months. However, business confidence remains fragile.

UK Business Schools

Globally, there are estimated to be over 7000 business schools. Research by GMAC suggests the number of postgraduate business programmes grew by almost 4000 in the decade to 2007. In continental Europe there are over 1200 taught business Masters programmes in English. A search on Google for the words ‘business school’ produce tens of millions of responses.
