What does ABS do?

ABS is the authorative voice of business and management education in and for the UK.

ABS operates as an effective and independent network organisation for its members.

ABS works broadly in three areas:

Quality

Enhancing the quality of business and management education is a primary focus in ABS's policy role.

ABS is highly active at a national and european level on behalf of its members

UK

At a national level, ABS has long enjoyed a close relationship with the Quality Assurance Agency (QAA):

Professor Mary Carswell, Director of Derbyshire Business School and member of the ABS Executive is also a member of the QAA Committee charged to develop a new Code of Practice on the Assessment of Students.

High flying student, Roderick Sutherland of Caledonian Business School, scooped ABS Business and Management Student of the Year Award at the 2004 National Business Awards held at a black tie gala dinner at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London last night, 9 November.
