Capacity Building Programmes

Want to develop in your current role? Feel you don't have the necessary knowledge to operate as effectively as you would wish? Want to meet others in similar roles in other schools?
ABS runs eight unique and affordable training programmes tailored specifically to staff working in business schools.
There have been just under 2,000 participants since the programmes started in 2000.
ABS programmes are designed to:
- tackle the key issues affecting academic and academic related staff in business schools
- encourage colleagues to exchange problems, insights and best practice
- bring participants together with experienced experts from in and outside higher education
ABS programmes are delivered by:
- group sessions-each over 24 hours, usually in London
- visits to ABS member schools
- external speakers, discussion groups and action learning sets
