Assistant Director (Devolved Nations)
ASSISTANT DIRECTOR (DEVOLVED NATIONS)
12 MONTHS TEMPORARY
PART-TIME, 3 DAYS PER WEEK
Salary: £35,851-39,582pa pro rata
Building upon the activities of the established Committee for Scotland, the Association of Business Schools is seeking to appoint an Assistant Director (Devolved Nations) within its Research and Development team to develop and deliver a new strategy to support its members in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
The initial funding for this position is for one year, working 3 days per week. Funding to continue this position will be considered by the ABS Executive Board based on the success of strategy and the demonstrable additional value provided to the membership.
This position is a fantastic development opportunity for a dynamic, talented, and questioning individual keen to make an immediate impact on national Higher Education policy. We are seeking candidates with bags of enthusiasm who have excellent communication and analytical skills and the initiative to work independently as well as functioning as part of our small busy team.
The Assistant Director will be based in the ABS Executive Office located in central London but will be required to travel frequently to Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Start date from 3 September 2012.
