Ashridge Business School Open It's First Office in the Middle East
This new base will allow leading businesses and organisations to benefit better from the Ashridge portfolio of custom and open executive education programmes, organisation consulting, executive coaching and mentoring, virtual learning and qualification programmes.
Masdar’s futuristic, zero emission environment has been chosen specifically to mirror Ashridge’s drive to integrate sustainability within both its operations and its executive education and consulting activities. This is underpinned by Ashridge's global research programmes into the future challenges facing organisations.
Ashridge has had a strong presence in the Middle East for over 10 years, but this is the first time that it has had a dedicated regional office. Its clients in the region include organisations in Government, the Pharmaceutical, Healthcare, Oil & Gas, Financial Services and Leisure sectors.
Rory Hendrikz, recently appointed as Director for Ashridge in the Middle East, who is based in the UAE, said: “Developing professional, confident, capable leaders is one of the biggest challenge facing governments and businesses in the region. Having worked with clients throughout the Gulf since 2001, it has never been more important for Ashridge to help meet this challenge and opportunity. Setting up our office here will enable Ashridge to deliver global expertise to the specific contexts and issues in the region.”
Ashridge has a distinctive approach to learning - interactive, practical and applied - combined with a thorough understanding of the current issues facing organisations. This has proven highly successful with global clients including organisations such as Sinopec, Bayer CropScience, Tetra Pak and Volvo. In the public sector, Ashridge has worked with six national Governments and in the UK, the Bank of England, City of London and the National Health Service.
