British Schools Very Much Open for Business!

The visa and immigration issues highlighted in the recent media coverage around London Metropolitan University and the UK Borders Agency (UKBA) have understandably raised concerns within the international student community. Students have been protesting outside of the UK Home Office and the UK Government is deep in talks of how to prevent this happening again and to question how it could have happened in the first place.

ABS Responds to YouGov poll which reveals widespread misunderstandings with regard to overseas students

Paul Marshall, Chief Executive of the the Association of Business Schools says:

Estimated export earnings generated by overseas students at UK business schools in fees and expenditure equal £2bn a year and estimated contribution of business schools to local economies equal  £7.5bn a year.
